We use the laser on our all our neuters, including small animals like rats. As you will see from the following pictures there is no bleeding with the laser, which means less anesthesia time and less postoperative pain and swelling. Rat Mammary Tumor
Rats are prone to tumors, commonly in the mammary glands and in the uterus. These tumors can be benign or malignant. Removing them as soon as they are noted makes for a much better prognosis.
