Externs

Every month we host a student from one of the veterinary schools throughout the world. They are senior students taking time off from their clinical rotation in order to get experience in a private practice. Since we have a heavy caseload they are able to augment their university education and gain confidence before they graduate.

Our current extern is Steve. He is completing his senior year at Michigan State. He is a welcome addition to our time, and he is glad to be in California in the winter time!.

His special interests include exotic animal medicine, wildlife, reptiles, and surgery. Hobbies include traveling, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.
